Hydrogenology is a founder-maintained research library, not a journal, publisher or primary data repository. Its public research directory, topic collections, study records and policy pages can be read without an account through stable HTTPS pages. Browse the research library.
CC BY 4.0 licence
Unless a page expressly states otherwise, original editorial descriptions, assessments and classifications created by Hydrogenology are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). This permits sharing and adaptation, including commercial reuse, provided the licence conditions are followed.
When reusing this material, credit Hydrogenology, link to the specific source page and the CC BY 4.0 licence, indicate whether changes were made, and do not imply that Hydrogenology endorses you or your use.

What the licence does not cover
Third-party article titles, abstracts, figures, tables, publications, publisher material and linked full text are excluded and remain subject to their respective rights and source terms. The licence also excludes the database compilation as a whole, its selection and arrangement, site design, code, the Hydrogenology name and logo unless a page expressly states otherwise. Hydrogenology does not claim ownership of scientific facts or bibliographic identifiers.
Identifiers and provenance
Hydrogenology is identified as RRID:SCR_028883. Public study records use stable record URLs and show the source identifiers available for that record, such as PMID, DOI or a trial identifier. They also separate publisher access from lawful free full-text access and show the extraction basis and latest review date. These details are provided so readers can trace editorial wording back to its source.
Updates and correction history
There is currently no guaranteed release interval. Records are reviewed and updated as new source information, corrections or systematic audits become available and curator capacity permits. Each study record shows its latest review date. Material changes are dated on the affected record or in the public Corrections and Version History; older wording is retained in version-controlled project history.
Machine access and bulk reuse
No public API or structured bulk download is currently offered. The public web pages are the available access format. The CC BY 4.0 licence applies to the covered editorial elements regardless of format, but automated access must not impair the service or bypass protected routes. For high-volume access, a custom export or questions about database-wide reuse, contact Hydrogenology before collection begins.
Preservation and continuity
Editorial history is retained in the version-controlled project history. No formal third-party preservation agreement or permanent-availability guarantee is currently in place. This limitation will be updated if an institutional archive, repository deposit or other continuity arrangement is established.
